Simply imagine that your best friend has come to you saying exactly the same things about themselves. Would you consider such thoughts to be true, or merely the result of a bad mood? Think of what you would say to your friend if they were in the situation, and then simply remind yourself of the same thing. Chances are, this will help you to lighten up and not be so hard on  yourself.
